Project Recipe
Hello! Today I used my favorite bundle! Oh so Succulent. I am so sad that it will be retiring at the end of May. Don't regret not having it, it has many uses and is such a fun bundle to play with. The basket builder framelits are also retiring at the end of the month. You still have time to order them from my online store. Click on my supply list and it will take you right to my store.
Once they are gone they are gone so take a minute to order today!
Measurements
Whisper White cs 8 1/2 x 11 scored at 4 1/4, 3x3
Sweet sugarplum 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and 3 x 4
Succulent garden DSP 2 1/4 x 4, 3 1/4 x 4, 2 3/4 x 3 3/4
Old olive cs 3x3
Glitter paper cut to 1/2 of Doily size
This card took a little time to cut out all the little pieces and to color the edges of the succulent flowers. Once everything was cut out I layered the DSP to the card base and then added a piece of ribbon across the seam of where the two pieces of paper meet. I attached the ribbon to the back side of the cardstock so I could then slip the other pieces of DSP under the ribbon, I added a close up picture to show better of what I am talking about. I then attached all the little pieces to the basket and glued it to the doily and glitter paper. I attached the flowers with half a dimensional.
I hope you are inspired to make a Mothers Day card. I'm sure she will love it!
Have a great week!
