Project Recipe
Cutting Instructions:
Tranquil Tide Cardstock cut to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Tranquil Tide Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack cut to 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
Adhere card front panel to card base.
Adhere doilies to card front, placing the top edge of the doilies about 3/4" from the top edge of the card.
Cut out the apron using the Big Shot, Delightful Daisy DSP and the Apron Builder framelits die.
Cut out the apron neck loop and pocket, using the Big Shot, Wisteria Wonder cardstock and the Apron Builder framelits die.
Adhere the apron neck loop to the apron.
Cut out the lacy apron pocket, using the Big Shot, Whisper White cardstock and the Apron Builder framelits die.
Adhere the Wisteria Wonder pocket to the front of the Whisper White lacy pocket.
Add a thin line of liquid glue to the very outer edges of the curved part of the pocket. Do not add glue to the top of the pocket, you will need this to remain open to put the cooking utensils in the pocket. Adhere pocket to the front of the apron.
Cut out the flower and heart using the flower and heart die from the Apron Builder framelits and the Big Shot. I used Real Red and Wisteria Wonder cardstock.
Adhere heart and flower to apron pocket. Place a tiny Pearl Basic Jewel in the center of the flower.
Adhere the apron to the card front at a slight angle over the doilies using dimensionals.
Cut out the girl holding the cupcake from the Birthday Memories DSP using the coordinating Birthday Friends framelits die and the Big Shot.
Cut out the banner, using the Bunch of Banners framelits die, Whisper White cardstock and the Big Shot.
Using the Happy Mother's Day from the You're Inspiring stamp set, mask off all of the stamp except for the "Happy Mother's Day". I stamped the "Happy Mother's Day" onto the Whisper White cardstock banner using Tranquil Tide ink.
Adhere the banner to the card front about a 1/4" below the doilies.
Using the utensil dies from the Apron Builder framelits and the Big Shot cut out the following:
Wisk--Foil sheet cardstock
Tongs--Foil sheet cardstock
Spatula--Wood Textures DSP stack
Spatula (top part only)--Whisper White cardstock
Spoon--Wood Textures DSP stack
Rolling Pin--Wood Textures DSP stack
Trim the Whisper White spatula top to fit the "wooden" spatula and adhere in place.
Using the Real Red Stampin' Write Marker, color the "handles" of the rolling pin.
Adhere the rolling pin at a slight angle to the bottom part of the apron.
Using mini Stampin' Dimensionals adhere the little girl holding the cupcake to the card front.
Slide the wisk, spatula, wooden spoon and tongs into the apron pocket. You may need to use a glue dot to hold each utensil in place.
