S weet card to say thank you to someone using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Powder Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Melon Mambo Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-7/8" of light pink flowers and leaves on bright pink background design from Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/8" from Melon Mambo Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp on each piece of cardstock using the Mixed Drinks Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the empty straight-edged glass image from the Mixed Drinks Set on Block B. Ink it up wit the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it just below center in the middle of the smaller white rectangle.
Mount the solid interior that fits into the glass on Block B. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad and stamp it inside the glass so it covers the bottom of the glass interior.
Use the Powder Pink Marker to color in the top portion of the glass so the glass appears to be full of a strawberry milkshake.
Mount the whipped cream image on Block A. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the glass.
Mount the small straw piece image on Block A. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the glass so it appears to be disappearing into the whipped cream.
Tip: Be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
Mount the small cherry outline image on Block A. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the whipped cream.
Tip: Be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
Use the Melon Mambo Marker to color in the cherry. Or, mount the small cherry interior image on Block A. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad and stamp it inside the cherry outline image. I prefer to use the Marker as I have a difficult time lining up the tiny cherry images.
Tip: If you do use the stamp, be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
Pick out the label framelit from the Lots of Labels Framelits that cuts out a 1-3/4" wide label. Place the stamped shake image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the label framelit on top so it is centered over the shake image vertically. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the label framelit from the Lots of Labels Framelits that cuts out a 2-1/8" wide label. Place the small Melon Mambo rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the label framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the milkshake label cut out to the center of the Melon Mambo label cut out.
WITHOUT adhering, lay the piece of Myths & Magic Designer Series Paper across the bottom of the large white rectangle. WITHOUT adhering, lay the matted labels on the right side of the white/designer paper rectangle about 1/2" in from the side.
Mount the "You're So Sweet" sentiment on Block G. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left of the matted shake labels about 1/2" up from the top of the designer paper.
When happy with the stamped sentiment, adhere the designer paper strip to the bottom of the large white rectangle.
Adhere the white/designer paper rectangle to the large Melon Mambo rectangle.
Cut a 6-1/4" piece of Powder Pink 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the cardstock/designer paper layers so the ribbon covers the seam between the cardstock and designer paper . Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the Powder Pink card.
Adhere the matted milkshake labels to the right side of the card so they are about 3/4" in from the right edge.
Cut a 4" piece of Powder Pink 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon and trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the left side of the matted milkshake labels so it is centered over the ribbon already on the card.
