Project Recipe
Dimensions
Card - A5 scored at 10.5 cm on longer side
Tag - 2” wide, long as desired
CARD
Stamp Santa twice to the edges of the card. Use scrap paper to cover the card beyond the score line. Make sure there is enough space for another Santa in between the two.
Options for Santa’s pompom -
- stamp Santa and then stamp pompom on the top Santa's head
- stamp pompom on another piece of scrap, punch out and glue on the hat
- stamp Santa with a piece of paper covering a bit of the hat line to create a small void. Stamp pompom into the void. (sample is using this option)
Now you have 2 images (most likely not complete ones) with space in between them.
Stamp Santa on an extra card stock (on this Santa I stamped, punch and glued the pompom). Colour the image. Use Q-tip dabbed onto the Powder Pink pad to create rosy cheeks. Punch the image, glue the pompom, place 2-3 dimensional on the back and glue the whole image in between two stamped Santas on your card.
HINT - turn the punch over to make sure you are punching in the correct place.
Choose washi tapes and place them underneath the images.
Stamp the sentiment below
Fold the card, burnish with a bone folder.
TAG
Take the 2” strip, place it into the tag punch - make sure it goes all the way up and punch.
Stamp the sentiment ( (skip this step if yo would like to have a smaller tag than used in the sample)
Stamp Santa (following options above) and colour it.
Place the washi tapes underneath. Use the same if you’d like the tag to match the card.
Adjust the length of the tag (if needed) and cut off the corners using the reverse punch on the envelope board.
Put ribbon through the hole on the top, trim it with the decorative wire
