Project Recipe
Cut Basic White Thick Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score and burnish at 4 1/4" to make an A2 size card.
Cut Sweet Sorbet and Garden Green Cardstocks at 1 3/4" x 3 3/4". Cut Pool Party Cardstock at 1 1/2" x 3 3/4".
Using the Poinsettia, Mushroom Tops, and Berry images from the Ringed with Nature Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! you are going to stamp with the coordinating inks to the coordinating colored cardstocks.
For the Poinsettia you are going to stamp it randomly on the Sweet Sorbet Cardstock in Sweet Sorbet Ink.
For the Mushroom tops you are going to stamp them randomly on the Pool Party Cardstock layer in Pool Party Ink.
For the berries you are going to stamp them randomly on the Garden Green Cardstock Layer in Garden Green Ink.
Attach each layer to the card base starting with the center piece of Pool Party Cardstock. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue for best placement; since this adhesive will allow you to move the cardstock around for a little bit of time and get the perfect placement.
Next add the other two pieces of cardstocks butted up against the middle layer to create a seamless front.
Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock to 1 1/2" x 5". Using Sweet Sorbet Classic Ink stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment from Ringed with Nature to the right-hand side of this layer in the center.
On the left-hand side you want to stamp the mushroom tops (which without the stems look like gum drops) in Pool Party Classic Ink.
Attach to the card base about a 1/4" from the bottom of the color blocked layer.
Using a scrap of both Garden Green Cardstock and Sweet Sorbet Cardstocks stamp the mushroom tops (aka gum drops) again in coordinating inks onto the coordinating cardstocks. Cut out the gum drops with Paper Snips and attach one of each color over one of the gum drops on your card front. Use either Mini Stampin' Dimensionals or Mini Glue Dots for this step.
Have fun mass producing this simple cute easy Christmas Card using the Ringed with Nature Stamp Set.
