E ach Monday I share a masculine theme card. I just needed a sentiment for the card front because the print paper does everything else.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Evening Evergreen8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Misty Moonlight 4 X 5 ¼ .
Card Front: Cut New Horizon print paper 3 ¾ X 5, use the picture of the card as a guide where to cut your paper. You will have a piece that measures 2 ¼ X 6, save this piece for your envelope flap. You will also have a scrap that measures 3 ¾ X 1, save that piece for the inside of your card.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. This is how I set up my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment for the card front and the card insert at the same time.
I used the 3 ¾ X 1 scrap to add interest to the inside of my card. Attach the card insert inside the card.
Attach the stamped card front to the Misty Moonlight card mat. Attach these to the card base.
If you want to cover your envelope flap to match your card, you can find directions here: http://www.scrappinwithjoni.com/blogs/covering-your-envelope-flap
