T his is the card I did for the Jacksonville Starz July Blog Hop. Our inspiration was the new In-Colors.
Project Recipe
Cut paper as follows:
Very Vanilla - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 (base), 4 x 5 1/4, and 2 3/4 x 2 1/2.
Mint Macaron - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8,, Tip top Taupe - 2 1/4 x 4 3/4, Farmers Market DSP - 2 x 4 1/2 and Delightful Dijon - 2 7/8 x 2 5/8.
Emboss the Very Vanilla - 4 x 5 1/4 with the Honeycomb TIEF. Mount this and the Mint Macaron mat to your base using snail or adhesive of choice. I would not use liquid glue.
Sponge the edges of the Tip Top Taupe piece with the Taupe Ink pad and your sponge. Mount the DSP to this piece using Snail.
Stamp your image on the smallest Vanilla piece using Memento pad. Color the image with your blender pen and your ink pads. Allow to dry for a few minutes then mount to the Delightful Dijon piece using snail.
Hint: You can squeeze your pad several times to get ink under the lid. Or use your re-inkers.
Mount the Taupe piece off center to the left of the card base. Mount the image to the image in the center of the card using Dimensionals. .
