P
aper, Paper and more Paper. The number one comment I hear as a demonstrator is "I have so much paper I don't want to get anymore". I can sure attest to that as I spent over 4 hours yesterday going thru all the Designer 12x12 paper I have while deciding what to keep. I recently read a post that stated something like If it doesn’t bring you joy when you feel it get rid of it that inspired me to take another New Year Resolution off my list. In future posts I will be using retired paper. Hopefully it will bring you inspiration on what to do with yours.
On to today’s card ! I started with a base of Basic Gray. I then made a frame using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. The foliage and sentiment dies come from Foliage Framelits Dies and the Floral Frames Stamp Set. Once I stamped the sentiment and ran it through the Big Shot I colored some of the leaves with the Tranquil Tide Stampin’ Write Marker. I attached this to the harlequin patterned paper with dimensionals. The foliage was cut with Tranquil Tide and attached inside the frame.
Wouldn’t this perfect to give to the guy in your life starting a new job or moving into a new apartment?
As for the paper I don’t want to keep I will be selling it at markets/events that I will be attending for 25¢ for single sided and 50¢ for double sided.
My next event is at Marci’s Bar and Grill 102 Erie St S # 15, Devon, Alberta T9G 2J4. Hope to see you there. I will be auctioning off two items.
Until Next Time !
