T he One Horse Open Sleigh DSP has a sheet of paper that appears to be viewed from a higher level. To me it is perfect for the snowman looking to the heavens. Like he's looking for the magic in the air!
Project Recipe
Measurements of Materials
5 ½” x 8 ½” Misty Moonlight Cardstock (CS) Scored at 2 1/8” & 4 ¼”
5 ¼” x 4” Misty Moonlight CS
5 ¼” x 4” White CS
3 ¾” x 5” One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper (DSP)
1 ½” x 5 ¼” DSP
Cut and Score all pieces.
Scraps of White and Sahara Sand CS as needed to cut out the snowman parts.
Assembling the Snowman
• Stack the 3 circles on top of each other. Slightly offset them so they appear to be looking skyward.
• I used gems for the eyes, small dots I drew on for the mouth, and a tiny piece of orange scrap paper for the nose.
• I added a dimensional between the head and middle piece after adding washi tape to make a scarf.
• The middle and large circles are attached together after adding 2 pieces of branch that form the arms.
• I embellished with gems for the snowman’s buttons
Inside the Card
• Adhere the 1 ½” wide piece of DSP to the side of the white CS. Trim as required to leave room for the sentiment.
• Stamp the inside sentiment onto the white CS.
• Adhere to the card base.
Front of the Card
• Adhere the large piece of DSP to the 5 1/4” x 4” piece of CS.
• Apply glue or Tear & Tape to the front fold of the card base as shown in the photo.
• Add the snowman.
Embellish as Desired! I used the plant branches, washi tape, and snowflakes. Use your imagination to embellish as desired.
