I paired the Stitched Whimsy dies with the Butterfly Bouquet set of products. The lines from Stitched Whimsy dies look a little like the flight of a butterfly. This would make a great birthday card, just use a different sentiment on the front.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Magenta Madness 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Use the largest Stitched Whimsy dies on the card front.
Card Front: Cut butterfly paper 3 ⅜ X 4 ¾. Round corners of paper with Detailed Trio punch.
Cut a strip of Basic White ¾ X 4 ¾ - stamp Thank You with Magenta Madness ink on the right end of the white strip. Cut Basic Black ⅞ X 4 ¾, attach stamped white strip to Basic Black strip. Attach this stamped piece ½” from bottom of butterfly paper. Attach butterfly paper to center of Magenta Madness card base.
Die cut Magenta butterfly from butterfly bijou paper. Attach butterfly to left of stamped Thank You with glue dots on the body of the butterfly. I added Wink of Stella to the wings of the butterfly. Attach a Magenta enamel dot to white strip.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
