N o stamping card using retiring and sneak peek products from Stampin' Up!
Project Recipe
Cut card stock and designer series paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" of small light pink dots on purple background design from Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" from Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock
- scrap of closely spaced pink, purple, and white flowers design from Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper at least 1-1/4" wide
Pick out a small, solid flower from the Sending Love Embellishments. Press the flower into the open Whisper White Craft Ink Pad. Set the flower aside to let it dry while you work on the rest of the card.
Pick out the smooth oval framelit from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out an oval that is 2-3/8" x 3-1/4" . Place the white rectangle on a Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval thinlit on top so it is in the center. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Place the white rectangle with the oval cut out of the middle into the Falling Petals Embossing Folder so the top right corner of the rectangle won't have any hearts embossed on it. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Make sure the folder is not sticking over the edge of the platform or it will catch on the center of the Big Shot and bend the folder. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the heart embossed white rectangle over the large rectangle of designer paper so the designer paper shows through the oval cut out.
Adhere the white rectangle to the Sweet Sugarplum card front.
Pick out the "friend" thinlit from the Lovely Words Thinlits and the smooth oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits that cuts out an oval that is 2-1/8" x 3-1/8". Place the Sweet Sugarplum rectangle on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the "friend" thinlit on top and then place the smooth oval framelit around it. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the card stock.
Place the oval friend cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the oval friend cut out. Flip the oval friend cut out over and adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered in the oval cut out on top of the designer paper.
Cut a 4" piece of Sweet Sugarplum ribbon from the Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack. Tie a half knot in the middle. Trim the ends. Adhere to the end of the "d" in the word "friend" using a Mini Glue Dot.
Unlock the Petite Petals Punch. Slide the scrap of designer paper inside and punch.
Adhere the flower punch out to the upper left corner of the oval using a Stampin' Dimensional.
If the ink on the Sending Love Embellishments flower is dry, adhere it to the center of the flower punch out using a Mini Glue Dot. If it is not dry, you can speed up drying using a Heat Tool.
Adhere a small Sweet Sugarplum circle from the 2016-2018 In Color Enamel Shapes to the center of the flower.
