Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Cork Specialty Paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Calypso Coral Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cajun Craze Cardstock
- 2-3/4" square from Cork 12" x 12" Specialty Paper
- 2-1/2" square of light orange leaf sprigs on darker orange background design from Harvest Meadow 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/4" square of dark orange crackles on lighter orange background design from Harvest Meadow 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1/2" x 3-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Pick out the large, rectangular die with dotted lines of different heights from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the Cajun Craze vertical rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the bottom edge of the die with the bottoms of all the dotted lines is even with the left, long edge of the cardstock rectangle and it is centered top to bottom. Run through the machine.
Note: This die will just cut fine, dotted lines of different heights into your cardstock. It does not actually cut anything out.
Adhere the stitched edge Cajun Craze rectangle to the front of the Calypso Coral card.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 2-3/8" diameter. Put it on top of the Cork Specialty Paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 2-1/8" diameter. Put it on top of the larger designer paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 1-7/8" diameter. Put it on top of the smaller designer paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Love Of Leaves Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the small, ruffled-edge leaf image from the Love Of Leaves Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. BEFORE STAMPING, use the brush tips of the Cajun Craze and Soft Suede Markers to randomly thump (tap) color all over the inked up stamp. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp it in the center of the 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" vanilla rectangle.
Note: If you are making multiples of this card, be sure to clean the stamp between each use.
Pick out the smaller, open, ruffled-edge leaf die that angles the same direction as the stamped leaf image from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the stamped small, ruffled-edge leaf image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Pick out the matching, solid, ruffled-edge leaf die from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the stamped small, ruffled-edge leaf image so it is inside the open die. Run through the machine.
Note: The solid die doesn't really cut anything out. Instead, it will add vein texture to the interior of the leaf by dry embossing them in place.
Mount the oak leaf image from the Love Of Leaves Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. BEFORE STAMPING, use the brush tips of the Cajun Craze and Soft Suede Markers to randomly thump (tap) color all over the inked up stamp. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp it in the center of the 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" vanilla rectangle.
Note: If you are making multiples of this card, be sure to clean the stamp between each use.
Pick out the open, oak leaf die from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the stamped oak leaf image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Pick out the matching, solid, oak leaf die from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Put it on top of the oak leaf image so it is inside the open die. Run through the machine.

Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the thin Very Vanilla strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notched top) as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the "hello" or "thank you" sentiment from the Love Of Leaves Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad. Stamp it on the punched banner so it is centered top to bottom and about 1/4" from the notched end with the notch on the right side.
Use Paper Snips to trim off excess cardstock on the left side of the stamped sentiment banner. Leave some room to be able to tuck the end of the sentiment banner under the leaf cut outs.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the cut out designer paper circles, cork circle and leaves and sentiment banner punch out on the card front to figure out placement and spacing.
When happy with placement and spacing, adhere the pieces in place one at a time.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the 3/8" Diamond Weave Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at a slight angle over the top of the small leaf cut out stem.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large and small copper dot from the sheet of Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to front of the card as shown.
