Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Fresh Fig Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Old Olive Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 5-1/8" of green leaves and purple flower clusters on white background from Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Old Olive Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp on each piece of cardstock using the Lots of Lavender Set and Thoughtful Banners Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the outline lavender bouquet image from the Lots of Lavender Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the right side of the white rectangle.
Mount the set of 4 solid leaves image from the Lots of Lavender Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper one time. WITHOUT re-inking, stamp it inside the set of four leaves on the left side of the stamped bouquet.
Mount the set of 2 solid leaves image from the Lots of Lavender Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper one time. WITHOUT re-inking, stamp it inside the set of two leaves on the right side of the stamped bouquet.
Mount the group of 3 stems image from the Lots of Lavender Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp onto Grid Paper one time. WITHOUT re-inking, stamp it inside the stems on the bottom of the stamped bouquet.
Use the Berry Burst Marker to color in most of the buds on the lavender springs on the stamped bouquet image.
Use the Fresh Fig Marker to color in some of the buds on the lavender springs on the stamped bouquet image.
Place the strip of Naturally Eclectic Designer Paper into the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the designer paper inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the dry embossed piece of designer paper to the left side of the white rectangle.
Adhere the stamped white/designer paper rectangle to the large Old Olive rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of Fresh Fig 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the designer paper and cardstock pieces so it covers the seam between the designer paper and white layers. Flip the designer paper/cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the Fresh Fig card.
Cut a 16" piece of Old Olive Baker's Twine.
Fold the Baker's Twine in half. Tie it around the ribbon already on the card near the top. Tie a small bow. Trim the ends.
Mount the curved banner with striped ends image from the Thoughtful Banners Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Old Olive rectangle.
Mount the word "celebrate" from the Thoughtful Banners Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped banner image.
Unlock the Duet Banner Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment banner into the punch and get the banner centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment banner punch out to the card front so it is centered over the ribbon at the base of the stamped lavender bouquet. The left edge of the banner will overlap the ribbon a little bit.
