Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pineapple Punch Cardstock at 4-1/4" x 10" and scored at 5-1/2"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 4" x 4-1/4" from Call Me Clover Cardstock
- 3-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Blueberry Bushel Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 2" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Call Me Clover Cardstock
Pick out the letter holding edgelit and the exclamation point edgelit from the Layering Alphabet Edgelits. Place the opened card on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the panel that is 4-1/2" long is securely on the Cutting Pad. Place the letter holding edgelit on top of the 4-1/2" long panel. Place the exclamation point edgelit inside the letter holding edgelit so that the more squared off tab is on the bottom and fits into the corresponding space on the letter holding edgelit and the more rounded off tab is on the top and fits into the corresponding space on the letter holding edgelit. Carefully move the letter holding edgelit with exclamation point edgelit in place around on the cardstock so that the right edge of the exclamation point edgelit is lined up with the right edge of the cardstock and the sharp tooth between two indents on the bottom and top of the letter holding edgelit is lined up over the top and bottom edges of the cardstock. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Keep the letter holding edgelit out for the next step.
Pick out the i edgelit from the Layering Alphabet Edgelits. Place the larger Call Me Clover rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the letter holding edgelit on top. Place the i edgelit inside the letter holding edgelit so that the more squared off tab is on the bottom and fits into the corresponding space on the letter holding edgelit and the more rounded off tab is on the top and fits into the corresponding space on the letter holding edgelit. Carefully move the letter holding edgelit with i edgelit in place around on the cardstock so that the right edge of the i edgelit is lined up with the right edge of the cardstock and the sharp tooth between two indents on the bottom and top of the letter holding edgelit is lined up over the top and bottom edges of the cardstock. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Keep the letter holding edgelit out for the next step.
Pick out the h edgelit from the Layering Alphabet Edgelits. Place the Blueberry Bushel rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the letter holding edgelit on top. Place the h edgelit inside the letter holding edgelit so that the more squared off tab is on the bottom and fits into the corresponding space on the letter holding edgelit and the more rounded off tab is on the top and fits into the corresponding space on the letter holding edgelit. Carefully move the letter holding edgelit with h edgelit in place around on the cardstock so that the right edge of the h edgelit is lined up with the right edge of the cardstock and the sharp tooth between two indents on the bottom and top of the letter holding edgelit is lined up over the top and bottom edges of the cardstock. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of a Stampin' Pierce Mat to protect it from ink. As you are ready to stamp using the Lined Alphabet Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the exclamation point stamp from the Lined Alphabet Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the exclamation point cut out at the end of the Pineapple Punch card.
Mount the i stamp from the Lined Alphabet Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the i cut out at the end of the Call Me Clover rectangle.
Mount the h stamp from the Lined Alphabet Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Blueberry Bushel Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the h cut out at the end of the Blueberry Bushel rectangle.
Adhere the cut out and stamped Call Me Clover rectangle to the card front so about 1/4" of Pineapple Punch shows on the left side and the right edge of the i just touches the left edge of the exclamation point. Make sure the top and bottom edges are in line with the top and bottom edges of the Pineapple Punch card front.
Cut a 5" piece of Call Me Clover 1/8" Grosgrain
Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the left edge of the stamped and cut Blueberry Bushel rectangle about 1/4" in from the left edge. Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the card front so about 1/4" of Call Me Clover shows on the left side and the right edge of the h just touches the left edge of the i. Make sure the top and bottom edges are in line with the top and bottom edges of the card front.
Mount the lemon image from the Lemon Zest Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Pineapple Punch Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of one of the long strips of white cardstock so that the fattter, more rounded end of the lemon is pointing up. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again on the bottom of the other long strip of white cardstock so that the fatter, more rounded end of the lemon is pointing up.
Tip: If you stamp the lemon image so that the fatter, more rounded end of the lemon is pointing up, it will be easier to line the image up in the punching area of the punch.
Unlock the Lemon Builder Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide one of the stamped lemons into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other lemon. Leave the punch unlocked.
Using SNAIL, adhere one lemon at a slight angle to the Blueberry Bushel layer on the card front so it appears to be hanging from the ribbon near the top.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the other lemon at a slight angle to the card front so it also appears to be hanging from the ribbon near the top and overlaps the first lemon about half way.
Slide the thin strip of Call Me Clover Cardstock into the open Lemon Builder Punch (held upside down so you can see the punching area). Line the strip up in the leaves punching areas. Punch.
Adhere the leaves to the tops of the lemons.
Cut an 8" piece of Call Me Clover 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the top of the lemons at a slight angle.
Mount the citrus fruit slice image from the Lemon Zest Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Pineapple Punch Ink Pad. Stamp it twice in the lower right corner of the remaining, large white rectangle so the edges go off the right and bottom sides and they overlap each other a bit. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the inside of the card back.
