Q uick and easy card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut card stock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Bermuda Bay Card Stock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 2-1/4" x 3" from Bermuda Bay Card Stock
Mount the "hooray" sentiment from the Reverse Words Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle close to the bottom. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave it on the block.
Ink up the stamp again with the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white layer so it overlaps the Pool Party image a bit and is as close the right edge as you can get it. Clean the stamp and leave it on the block.
Ink up the stamp again with the Island Indigo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of top of the white layer so it overlaps the Bermuda Bay image a little. Clean the stamp and put it away.
Mount the small hot air balloon image from the Lift Me Up Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it at a slight angle on the white layer so it overlaps the Pool Party "hooray" image a bit on the right side. Clean the stamp, but leave it on the block.
Ink up the stamp again using the Island Indigo Ink Pad and stamp it at a slight angle on the white layer so it overlaps the Island Indigo "hooray" image a bit on the right side. Clean the stamp and put it away.
Adhere the stamped white layer to the large Bermuda Bay rectangle and then to the front of the Pool Party card.
Mount the large hot air balloon image from the Lift Me Up Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Island Indigo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Bermuda Bay rectangle.
Pick out the larger solid hot air balloon framelit from the Up & Away Thinlits. Place the stamped Bermuda Bay rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of your Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the hot air balloon framelit on top of the stamped balloon image. Place the other Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the balloon cut out to the left side of the card front at a slight angle so it overlaps the Bermuda Bay "hooray" image using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Cut 16" of Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine. Double the twine on itself. Tie a small bow and trim the ends.
Adhere the bow to the large balloon cut out so it is centered between the balloon and the basket using a Mini Glue Dot.
