Project Recipe
Cut card stock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Watermelon Wonder Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of bird's eye view design from Carried Away Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" square from Whisper White Card Stock
- 2" x 3" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 1" x 2" from Whisper White Card Stock
- three 2" x 2-1/2" pieces from Whisper White Card Stock
Adhere the piece of Carried Away Designer Series Paper to the front of the Watermelon Wonder card.
Mount the large hot air balloon image from the Lift Me Up Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the 2" x 2-1/2" white rectangles. Clean the stamp with the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block.
Ink up the large hot air balloon image again using the Watermelon Wonder Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of another one of the 2" x 2-1/2" white rectangles. Clean the stamp again, but leave it on the block.
Ink up the large hot air balloon image again using the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the last of the 2" x 2-1/2" white rectangles.
Use the Peekaboo Peach Marker to color in the white spaces on the Watermelon Wonder and Night of Navy balloons.
Use the Mint Macaron Marker to color in the white spaces on the Peekaboo Peach balloon.
Pick out the larger solid hot air balloon framelit from the Up & Away Thinlits. Place one of the stamped white rectangles on the Cutting Pad on top of your Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the hot air balloon framelit on top of the stamped balloon image. Place the other Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Repeat with the other two balloon images.
Adhere the three balloons together in an overlapped bunch in the top center of the card front.
Mount the roof angle image from the Sweet Home Photopolymer Stamp Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad and stamp it on the 2" x 3" white rectangle.
Cut out the roof image by hand using Paper Snips. Leave a portion of the center of the roof intact so you can use it to adhere the roof image to the card front.
Adhere the roof image to the card front so it is centered at the base of the bunch of balloons.
Mount the solid house image from the Sweet Home Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it on the 2-1/2" white square so you get the top of the house and as much of the base as possible.
Cut out the house image by hand using Paper Snips. Make sure the bottom edge is straight.
Adhere the house image to the card front so it is centered inside the roof.
Mount the rectangular door image from the Sweet Home Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad. Stamp it on the 1" x 2" white rectangle.
Cut out the door by hand using Paper Snips.
Adhere it to the card front so it is at the bottom of the house and centered side to side.
Mount the congratulations sentiment from the Lift Me Up Set on Block G. Use the brush tip of the Watermelon Wonder Marker to ink up only the word "Congratulations!" Breathe on the stamp to make sure the ink is moist and stamp it in the center of the 1" x 3" strip of white.
Pick out the long, single, open banner framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the banner framelit on top so the sentiment is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Poke out the banner with the sentiment and keep it. Also use the Paper-Piercing Tool to poke out the outline banner that is probably stuck inside the framelit, remove it, and throw it away. If you don't remove it, then you will have trouble cutting with this framelit the next time you use it.
Use the side of the brush tip of the Night of Navy Marker to outline the banner.
Adhere the banner to the card front using edge pieces from Stampin' Dimensionals. Make sure the banner is centered side to side across the bottom of the house.
Cut a 20" piece of Night of Navy Solid Baker's Twine. Double it over. Tie a small bow. Trim the ends.
Adhere the bow to the card front at the top of the roof using a Mini Glue Dot.
