I
saw this project at Onstage Local in Savanah and fell in love!
Project Recipe
The white frame is an 8 x 8 from Michaels. I always wait until there is a 50% off and I order in a bunch.
Use your lemon builder punch and cut out three lemons in Daffodil Delight. Sponge the edge with Daffodil Delight ink. My trick on using this punch is a to use strips of card stock 2" wide for the lemons and 3/4" wide for the leaves. that way you can stamp several on the strips and punch away without too much effort in lining up the images.
Punch the leaves using old olive card stock.
I scored down the middle of the leaves to give them life. I also sponged the leaves with old olive ink. You will need 21 leaves total.
Cut out the white flowers using Whisper white card stock and the Botanical Framelits.
You can also cut out the center of the flower using Daffodil Delight. Do both of these at the same time.
Cut the branch using Seasonal Layers Thinlits and Chocolate chip ink. I also sponged this piece to give it depth.
Now you are ready to assemble.
Place the old olive piece from the color Theory Designer Series Paper.
White Doily is next .
Place your tree limb on top of the Doily
and arrange the lemons as shown in the picture.
