H ere's another great card created with simple stamping. Sometimes simple is better! I think we forget how beautiful cards can be with a stamp set, card stock and ink! I hope you like my take on this card!
Project Recipe
Cuts and Card Base - DSP = Designer Series Papers
Card Base - Thick Whisper White - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Layer 1 - Early Espresso - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Layer 2 - Cherry Cobbler - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 3 - Whisper White - 1/2 x 2 1/2
Layer 4 - Cherry Cobbler - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Layer 5 - Whisper White - 4 x 5 1/4
Layer 1 - Adhere to card front.
Layer 2 - Stamp trees from the "Life is Beautiful" stamp set in Early Espresso ink.
One tree on the left and one on the right. (You will be stamping part of the tree off the sheet.)
Using the snowflake stamp from the "Life is Beautiful" stamp set and Whisper White craft ink, stamp the snowflakes onto the branches.
Note: When using Whisper White craft ink make sure your stamp pad has plenty of ink. I also use the Stamparatus to get a good image.
From the Rustic Retreat stamp set, stamp the cabin image in Whisper White craft ink right between the 2 trees about 1/16" from the bottom edge.
Using the water image from the "Life is Beautiful" stamp set and whisper white craft ink, stamp several images across the bottom edge as shown.
Layer 3 - From the "Itty Bitty Christmas" stamp set, stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink centering.
Using stampin dimensionals adhere to card front above the cabin and between the trees.
Layer 4 - Adhere to the inside of the card.
Layer 5 - Stamp sentiment from "Itty Bitty Christmas" stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink centering on page. Then adhere to inside of card.
