Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" of holly leaves and berry sprigs on light brown background design from Boughs Of Holly 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-1/2" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 3" x 4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 3" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" from Real Red Cardstock
Insert the large Cherry Cobbler rectangle into the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder so the word pattern runs horizontally across the horizontal cardstock. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper to the bottom of the horizontal, dry embossed Cherry Cobbler rectangle. The bottom, left, and right sides will be even.
Pick out the large tag with two holly leaves on the left side die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the 3" x 4" Mossy Meadow rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Pick out the solid, set of two holly leaves die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the Evening Evergreen rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of the detailed leaves cut out on the big tag to adhere the solid leaves cut out to the back of the detailed leaves on the left side of the tag.
Cut a 6" piece of the Real Red ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.
Thread one end of the ribbon through the gap on the right side of the big holly leaves tag cut out so it goes over the thin outer rim. Pull the ribbon through until only about 1" of ribbon sticks out on the right side.
Put some Stampin' Seal on the back of the big holly leaves tag cut out above and below the ribbon.
Adhere the big holly leaves tag to the right side of the dry embossed cardstock/designer paper layer so the tag is centered over the seam between the cardstock and designer paper as shown and ribbon sticks out to the left and right sides.
Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Cherry Cobbler rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Mossy Meadow card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Leaves Of Holly Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the more solid, slightly smaller holly leaf image from the Leaves Of Holly Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 2" x 3-1/2" Mossy Meadow rectangle.
Mount the more detailed, slightly smaller holly leaf image from the Leaves Of Holly Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped holly leaf image on the Mossy Meadow rectangle.
Pick out the matching, open, slightly smaller holly leaf die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the holly leaf cut out to the front of the card as shown so the upper tip points into the upper left corner and the stem is tucked under the leaves on the left side of the large tag.
Mount the "season's greetings" or "Christmas wishes" sentiment from the Leaves Of Holly Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla strip.
Pick out the smaller label die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the center of the large holly leaves tag cut out as shown.
Mount the more solid set of berries image from the Leaves Of Holly Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Real Red rectangle.
If desired, mount the more detailed set of berries image from the Leaves Of Holly Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped berries image on the Real Red rectangle.
Pick out the matching, open berries die from the Holly Berry Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the berries to the front of the card as shown so they overlap the lower left corner of the large holly leaves tag and the lower left corner of the sentiment label cut out as well.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Real Red ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front. Tie in place with a half knot just to the left of the holly leaves as shown. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large bronze dot from a sheet of Brushed Metallic Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card in the upper right corner as shown.
