ou can use your favorite leaves, stems, or ferns on this card. I used three stamp sets for the leaves -- Forever Fern, Cottage Wreaths, and Healing Hugs (retired). The sentiment is from Grassy Grove.
Instructions are available in the Gallery at the top of my blog.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock:
1) Mossy Meadow for card: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored on the long side at 4-1/4".
2) Mossy Meadow for center strip: 5-1/2" x 1-1/4"
3) Basic White for front: 5-1/4" x 4"
4) Basic White for greeting: 5-1/4" x 1-1/8" (need 2 of these)
Stamp:
1) Temporarily adhere one narrow strip of Basic White cardstock over the middle of the 5-1/4" x 4" cardstock.
2) Stamp images as shown in the picture. The stems of the various leaves or ferns will be on the temporary strip of white cardstock and this piece will eventually be discarded.
3) Note that less leaves and ferns are better than overcrowding. And some images were stamped off to add variety.
4) Stamp a greeting on the second narrow strip of white cardstock.
Assemble:
1) Discard the temporary narrow strip of cardstock.
2) Adhere the greeting piece on top of the narrow piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock.
3) Tie the ribbon around the left end of the greeting piece and then adhere this entire thing to the stamped piece of Basic White cardstock.
4) Adhere the finished card front to the card itself.
