Q uick and easy thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pretty In Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of mottled peach design from Unbounded Beauty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 2-3/4" of mottled pinks and peaches design from Unbounded Beauty 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Layers Of Beauty Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the large group of roses, small flowers, and leaves image from the Layers Of Beauty Set on Block F. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the 4" x 5-1/4" vertical mottled peach Unbounded Beauty Designer Paper rectangle so you fill the lower right corner and go only about half way up the designer paper. Re-ink the stamp and stamp again in the same way in the upper left corner. Leave the stamp on the block.
Adhere the large, stamped mottled peach designer paper rectangle to the front of the Pretty In Pink card.
Re-ink the large group of roses, small flowers, and leaves image on Block F with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the mottled pinks and peaches Unbounded Beauty Designer Paper rectangle so you get the center large rose with leaves image that can be cut out with the matching die.
Pick out the matching, open, large single rose with leaves die from the Layers Of Beauty Dies. Put it on top of the stamped rose image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Mount the "grateful for you" sentiment from the Layers Of Beauty Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Peach Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the circle die from the Deckled Circles Dies that cuts out a circle that is 1-3/4" in diameter. Put it on top of the sentiment square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the sentiment circle cut out and designer paper rose cut out in the center of the card front to figure out spacing and placement. When happy with the layout, adhere them in place one at a time. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the designer paper rose cut out.
Cut a 4" piece of the Peach Pie 3/8" Bordered Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card as shown at a slight angle in the angle between the sentiment circle cut out and designer paper rose cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small Peach Pie and 2 large Pretty In Pink dots from a sheet of Adhesive-Backed Dappled Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
