Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2" x 4-1/2" from Whisper White Thick Cardstock
- 2" x 4-1/2" from small white flowers on black background design from Petal Passion Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Berry Burst Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" from Powder Pink Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/4" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 5/8" x 2-1/2" from Powder Pink Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Berry Burst Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
Place the piece of Petal Passion Designer Series Paper on Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Roll the Sponge Brayer across the open Powder Pink Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, roll it repeatedly onto the piece of designer paper. Get more ink on the brayer as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want.
Tip: I just clean my Sponge Brayers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Unlock the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Insert the strip of Whisper White Thick Cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch. Repeat with the strip of colored designer paper.
Adhere the punched, colored strip of designer paper to the punched thick white cardstock.
Cut a 16" piece of Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon through the ribbon slot at the top of the tag and pull the ribbon through until it is even on both sides.
Cut an 24" piece of Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine.
Fold the twine in half. Tie the twine around the ribbon just above the top of the tag. Tie a small bow. Trim the ends of the twine and ribbon.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the 1" x 2-1/4" piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to the left side of the Powder Pink 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" cardstock piece. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Powder Pink cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Powder Pink showing on top).
Pick out the small flower and leaf spray thinlit from the Flourish Thinlits. Place it on top of the Powder Pink piece on the Big Shot so the leaf and berries are on the side of the cardstock that does not have adhesive sheet on the back. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off of the flower and leaf spray cut out. Adhere it to the top of the tag so the leaf and berries stick off the left edge of the tag just a bit and the stem curves toward the center of the tag.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" Berry Burst cardstock piece. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Berry Burst cardstock on a Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Berry Burst showing on top).
Pick out the letter framelit you want to use from the Large Letters Framelits. Place it on top of the Berry Burst piece on the Big Shot. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Paint some shimmer all over the initial using the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
Peel the protective backing off of the initial cut out. Adhere it to the front of the tag about 1" from the bottom and centered side to side.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on the 1" x 2-1/2" piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the Berry Burst strip. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Berry Burst cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Berry Burst showing on top).
Pick out the long, line of latticework thinlit from the Flourish Thinlits. Place it on top of the Berry Burst piece on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off of the line of lattice work cut out. Adhere it to the top of the Powder Pink strip.
Adhere the lattice work strip to the bottom of the tag about 1/8" from the bottom. Use Paper Snips to cut off excess cardstock on both sides.
Pick out a medium Metal Rimmed Pearl. Peel off the protective backing and adhere it to the bottom right of the initial.
