A simple watercolor wash background adds to the beauty of this Label Me Pretty card!
Project Recipe
I used an 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Berry Burst cardstock as my card base, with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Calypso Coral as the first mat.
Fold the Berry Burst piece in half, and set aside. You will adhere the Calypso Coral to the card base in a bit.
On the 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Watercolor Paper, I scribbled Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, and Daffodil Delight over the front, overlapping the colors where they meet.
Using an aquapainter, I blended the colors with water until I achieved the desired blend of colors.
One of the neat things about this technique is that you get a different effect each time! Don't be afraid to experiment!
Adhere the watercolor background paper to the Calypso Coral piece.
Wrap some Calypso Coral 1/4" Ombre Ribbon around this piece, and tie in a knot or bow.
Stamp the Label image in Daffodil Delight, and punch out using the Label Punch.
Stamp the greeting in Berry Burst and punch out using the 1" circle punch. Adhere that to the label using Stampin' Dimensionals, and add a small Rhinestone.
Adhere the entire label to the front of the card using dimensionals!
