T his is the first card designed for my PP subscribers class.
Project Recipe
Start with a whisper white A2 card base (4 1/4 x 11) and stamp a border with the squiggly stamp in pool party.
Next you will build the scene by stamping the sand, from the set Waterfront, across the page just shy of half way down the panel. Do this with crumb cake and sarah sand. Fill it in as much as you'd like and stamp down about an inch from the bottom. Use a post it to make a shoreline or eyeball a pattern to make the shore. You can also use a post-it or scrap to help make the top line of the sand as well so you don't get random dots where you don't want them.
When your sand is done, move on to adding some palm trees at the top of the "beach" and then add a couple of huts. These stamps are in the Waterfront set too. You can finish off this part by adding some sun in the sky and sponge around it to blend it out some.
Trim the base on one of the double palm trees from your PP kit and glue it down toward the shoreline. I popped up the fronds on the bigger tree with a dimensional.
Finally...using liquid glue, spread it around on your shoreline. Make sure to follow the sand pattern you made. Once the glue is down tear the blue tissue from the kit and pat it down to make the water. I crinkled mine up first and then had some extra around the shore that I pulled back a tad to try and make it define the shore.
The glue in the previous step will need a tad to dry. Once it is ready, mount it on a pear pizzazz base and mount that on the white card base from step one.
