P retty card perfect for Valentine's Day or lots of other occasions using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of sketched flowers in red and pink on white background pattern from All My Love Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 5-1/4" of stitched diagonal white stripes on red background from All My Love Designer Series Paper
- 2-3/4" square from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- 2-3/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-5/8" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
Adhere the large rectangle of All My Love Designer Series Paper to the front of the Flirty Flamingo card.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide one end of the strip of All My Love Designer Series Paper into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Cut a 2-1/4" piece of the Flirty Flamingo 1/8" Ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack.
Lay the ribbon across the top of the punched banner of designer paper. Flip the punched banner over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the punched banner of designer paper. Adhere it to the front of the card so the top is even with the top of the designer paper on the card front and the left edge is about 1/2" in from the left edge of the card.
Cut an 8" piece of the Flirty Flamingo 1/8" ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the front of the card so it is on the left side of the ribbon already on the card front.
Mount the "sent with love" sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Lovely Lipstick Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Whisper White square.
Pick out the large, open, scallop-edged heart framelit that cuts out a heart that is 1-7/8" wide from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. Place the sentiment stamped white square on the Cutting Pad on the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Tip: This framelit cuts out the center heart shape which you are using on this project. It also cuts out a thin, scallop-edged heart frame. Use the Die Brush and/or Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the heart frame and throw it away or use it on another project.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the Flirty Flamingo square. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (Flirty Flamingo facing up).
Pick out the filigree heart thinlit from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. Place it on top of the Flirty Flamingo Cardstock on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush and Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the pieces.
Adhere the filigree heart cut out to the stamped white solid heart so the solid heart is centered inside the filigree heart and you can read the sentiment in the center.
Put some SNAIL on the back of the solid heart and adhere the solid/filigree heart to the card front so it is centered over the right edge of the designer paper banner.
