S imple and fun card. Great class project. I used it at My Senior Center class and the ladies loved it.
Project Recipe
Cut paper and set aside. Stamp any Flower in Blackberry on lower left corner on White Card Stock, (make sure the Michigan Mitten is pointing towards center of card).
Punch flower out with Fun Flower punch matching petal shapes, set aside the punched flower you will be using it later. Stamp flower above the punch out and another to the side of the punch out. These can overlap the sides and/or punch out.
Stamp “It’s your day!” on upper right hand corner using Bermuda Bay stamp pad. Next stamp “Wish Big” in same color leaving a bit of space between. No worries about the blank spot, you are going to wrap it in bakers twine.
Mount stamped white piece onto Bermuda Bay mat, then wrap twice with Bakers Twine, (hint just add a bit of snail adhesive to back to hold in place). Mount to card base using Dimensionals. I add a little scotch tape to back to hold my Twine where I want it.
On second piece of White card stock, stamp sentiment in upper right hand corner and stamp blackberry flower to lower left hand corner. Punch out flower using your post-it (make sure you have the sticky part). Place over the flower you just stamped and stamp your other two flowers overlapping the center one. This is called Masking, it gives a bit of dimension to your card. Pull off post-it and mount to inside of card using snail adhesive.
To finish off, add Basic Rhinestones to the center of your flowers on the front. You can color them to match your flowers...just use a color Sharpie to color over the rhinestone and let dry. Sharpies now come in more than a dozen colors.
