Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Highland Heather Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
Lightly spray the large white rectangle with water. This will help you get a deeper impression when you dry emboss it.
Insert the large Whisper White rectangle into the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so the lines of lace will run horizontally across the rectangle. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Set the dry embossed cardstock aside to let it dry thoroughly.
Tip: You can use a Heat Tool to speed up drying if you wish.
As you are ready to stamp using the Incredible Like You Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "so glad we are friends" sentiment from the Incredible Like You Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Gorgeous Grape Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" white rectangle. The end of the "s" in the word "friends" should go off the right edge.
Mount the lighter line of leaves from the Incredible Like You Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it multiple times on the left side of the stamped white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the leaves go off the bottom and left edges. Let some of the leaves overlap. Let some of the leaves stick up above the others.
Mount the solid, large flower image from the Incredible Like You Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it twice onto the strip of white cardstock. Leave space between the two images and remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Mount the detailed, large flower image from the Incredible Like You Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Gorgeous Grape Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped solid flower images on the strip of white cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Use Paper Snips to cut the flowers out by hand.
WITHOUT adhering, lay the cut out flowers on top of the stamped white rectangle so they overlap each other a bit and the top flower overlaps the left side of the rectangle a bit and the lower flower is just over the top of the sentiment.
Mount the small, solid flower image from the Incredible Like You Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the stamped white rectangle just below the top cut out flower.
If the dry embossed white rectangle is dry, adhere it to the front of the Highland Heather card.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the front of the card in the center so the top is about 7/8" from the top of the card.
Use SNAIL to adhere the lower cut out flower in place.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the upper cut out flower in place.
Cut an 8" piece of Highland Heather Ribbon from the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a small bow in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the lower left corner of the stamped white rectangle at a slight angle.
