Project Recipe
Cut a card base from Blackberry Bliss paper, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.
Fold it in half.
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4 x 5 1/4 and adhere it to the inside of the card for writing on.
Cut a coordinating colour of cardstock for the front of the card. It should measure at 4 x 5 1/4. I used Tranquil Tide.
Glue it to the card base front.
With this same colour of cardstock, cut a square piece that measures 2 3/8 x 2 3/8. Set it aside.
Cut a piece of patterned paper at 5 x 3 3/4. I used the Rooted in Nature DSP.
Glue it to the Cardstock layer on the card.
Cut out the second smallest square from the Stitched Framelits Dies, out of Very Vanilla, or a light coordinating colour of cardstock.
Stamp the saying in Memento Black ink onto this piece.
Glue it onto the larger square that you had cut out earlier.
Cut two pieces of your favourite ribbon one a little longer than the other. I used the burlap ribbon. Cut a ribbon cut on one end of each ribbon.
Glue the ribbons behind the saying piece, so that they stick out to the left side of the squares.
Glue this whole piece to the bottom right hand side of the card.
Stamp three poinsettias onto Very Vanilla Cardstock, using Memento black ink.
Colour the flower with a Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend.
Colour the leaves with a Light Old Olive Stampin' Blend and highlight the veins with a Light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blend Marker.
Cut out the poinsettias. Put dimensionals on the back.
Glue one poinsettia to the top right hand corner of the saying squares and the other two in the lower left hand corner.
Add three rhinestones for some bling!
