a ssembly instructions for the Schnauzer Dog Die by Cottage Cutz
Project Recipe
I have attached the ejection foam to the die which allows it to be used without the paper or card stock sticking into the die.
This will work with the Big Shot using a standard sandwich of
1. platform
2. thin die adapter
3. cutting plate
4. material to be die cut
5. the die cutting side down
6. cutting plate
I cut all the pieces from one piece of Whisper White card stock
They are labeled on this picture
I then colored them using brushes, markers and various colors
You can choose your own colors I used
Basic Gray for the body
Smokey Slate for the body
White Chalk marker for the body
Petal Pink marker for ear centers and tongue
Real Red Marker for collar
Gold in for the chain link
Black marker for the eyes & nose
Once colored I assembled the pieces in this order.
1. The ear centers with liquid glue
2. The nose piece to the front of the whisker piece with liquid glue
3. The tongue to the back of the whisker piece with liquid glue
4. The whiskers with mini dimensionals as seen in the photo
5. the collar with liquid glue
6. The collar link with liquid glue
7. the bone with liquid glue
The main body piece is now complete and ready to be attached to the back legs.
Use mini dimensionals as shown to attach the body to the back legs. Place one on each foot and another further up on the leg being careful not to put it too high so the glue dots don't extend past the piece in the back.
Your Schnauzer is now done and ready to be attached to a card
You can also cut the die from several different colors of card stock to get the various pieces you need but that would require running the die through multiple times. I felt it worked well to just cut them all from white and color them.
