- 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" from Gold Foil Sheets
- 1" x 1-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
Pick out the bee hive die from the Detailed Bee Dies. Put it on top of the black and gold striped designer paper piece on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the stripes run horizontally across the hive and a gold stripe will be along the bottom edge. Run through the tool.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the bee hive cut out and the strip of honeycomb designer paper on the white rectangle as shown. The right edge of the bee hive should be about 1/4" from the right edge of the rectangle and the bottom of the bee hive should be about 3/4" from the bottom of the rectangle.
Mount the curved "Wishing You Sunshine & Happiness" sentiment from the Honey Bee Set on Block D. Ink it up with the StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle so it is arched over the bee hive.
When happy with the stamping of the sentiment, adhere the bee hive cut out and strip of honeycomb designer paper in place to the white rectangle.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle with designer paper pieces attached to the large Basic Black rectangle and then to the front of the Whisper White Thick card.
Pick out the large, detailed bee die from the Detailed Bee Dies. Put it on top of the Gold Foil Sheet rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Pick out the large bee die from the Detailed Bee Dies. Put it on top of the small Basic Black rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the body of the bee die is centered on the black rectangle. Run through the tool.
Use Paper Snips to trim off the legs and antennae bits from the black bee cut out.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the gold detailed bee cut out over the top of the solid, trimmed-down, black bee body cut out.
If needed, trim off excess black cardstock showing outside of the bee body area on the gold foil bee. Be careful not to cut off the gold foil bee legs, wings, or antennae.
Use Mini Black Stampin' Dimensionals from the Black Stampin' Dimensionals Combo Pack to adhere the layered, gold foil bee cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the top of the honeycomb designer paper strip to the left of the bee hive cut out and sentiment arch.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large gem from a sheet of Gold Faceted Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower left corner of the bee hive cut out where it intersects the honeycomb designer paper strip.
