Scraps of Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede
I've seen so many pretty cards made with the Home to Roost stamp set. This one has plenty of dimension and the embossing paste is a fun technique to use.
I started out by mixing a small amount of embossing paste with a drop of Cajun Craze ink. For tools, I used the Palette Knife and the Silicone Craft mat. Once it is mixed, place the Decorative Mask over the cajun craze layer and spread the embossing paste over evenly with the palette knife. Gently lift the mask off and clean immediately (paste will dry like cement and will not come off). Let the paste dry or use a heat tool and adhere to the base.
Tear the Whisper White piece of paper to give texture to the inside edge. Stamp the grass with So Saffron and Pear Pizzaz. On my card I stamped off so it was softer. Stamp the "Just a Note" greeting and then adhere to the card.
Use the Stitched Label die to cut Bermuda Bay and then run through with the Subtle Textured Impression Embossing Folder. Adhere to the card with Dimensionals.
Cut a Whisper White Oval and stamp with the rooster in Memento Black Ink. I colored the rooster with Cajun Craze, Mango Melody, and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends markers. Adhere to the Stitched Label die.
Finish the card with a Soft Suede heart and Share What You Love Pearls.
Stamp the grass along the bottom of the card and choose a greeting.
