S omething different - this was another quick Daisy Delight treat. Hope you like it!
Project Recipe
Paper sizes:
So Saffron 5.25 x 8"
Daisy Delight DSP 4 x 5.25"
Scrap of Whisper White
Scrap of So Saffron
1. Score the So Saffron at 4.25" and fold in half.
2. Glue the Daisy Delight DSP with snail in the center on the front. (This is a top folding card)
3. In Calypso Coral ink stamp 1 daisy from the Daisy Delight stamp set.
4. In Daffodil Delight ink stamp another daisy.
5. Stamp 4 leaf outlines in Old Olive. Next stamp the solid leaf image over the outlines in Old Olive by stamping off to get a lighter shade of ink.
6. I used a nesting die set from my stash but you could use the Lots of Labels Framelets. Choose the two that best fit your sentiment.
7. Using Old Olive ink, stamp your sentiment. I used a retired sentiment from Stampin' Up ( I have a lot that I love to reuse) you could also use the new Just Add Text set. I stamp the sentiment first and then use the framelet to cut it out to ensure I get it placed where I want.
8. Die cut a larger framelet from the So Saffron scrap.
9. Punch out your daises and leaves stamped earlier.
10. Cut your daises in half.
11. Glue the two halves together staggering the petals using snail.
12. Glue the Calypso Coral daisy half to the bottom left side of the card even with the DSP edge using snail.
13. Glue the Daffodil Delight daisy half to the top left side of the card even with the DSP edge using snail.
14. Glue the sentiment on top of the larger size So Saffron label using snail. Cut the right side of the sentiment label off so you have a straight edge.
15. Glue the two to the card front lining up with the right edge of the DSP towards the bottom of the card with snail.
16. Using a dimensional clear glitter from your stash, add some to the center of your daises and a few dots here and there to the card front. I also added one to the left side of my label.
You are done! Let the glitter glue dry overnight to ensure it is dried completely.
