A soft coloured card for a new baby boy or girl.
5.5x4.25 piece cardstock folded in half to form base.
Run 5.25x4 piece cardstock through Big Shot using the Subtle Texture folder. Adhere to card front.
Adhere 4.75x1.5 inch piece DSP at the bottom of the textured cardstock leaving an even border on three sides.
Using a piece of Whisper White large enough to cut with the 3.5 inch oval die, colour the long stamp with the Pear Pizzazz Marker and stamp very close to the edge of the paper. Cut out the oval so that this stamped image becomes the grass under the elephant.
Continue to add the stamps, first inking directly onto the stamp with the markers and placeing the image to create the elephant, balloons and flowers. I used Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue, and So Saffron, and Grey Granite.
Lightly ink the edges of the oval using the edge of the marker brush just to colour the edge of the paper, Pear Pizzazz on the grass side and Balmy Blue on the sky side. Mount this on the card front using dimensionals, lining up the grass line with the DSP edge.
On scrap white, stamp the sentiment in Momento Black. Cut the sentiment out using one end of the the 2-1/4 oval die. Lightly ink the edges of the paper with the edge of the brush side of Grey Granite marker. Mount on the bottom corner of the DSP using Dimensionals
I stamped further flowers on the inside insert for the card and the smaller elephant with hearts on the envelope!
