Project Recipe
Begin with Old Olive cardstock cut to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". With the cardstock in your paper trimmer the portrait way, bring the end of the cardstock to the 3" mark and cut from 1 1/4" until 6 1/4". Turn the paper 90 degrees to the right and then using your scoring blade, score at 2 1/4" from the bottom up to the 3" cut mark, at 4 1/4" score from top to bottom, at 5 1/2", 6 1/2" and 7 1/4" score only from the bottom up to the 3" mark where you cut the cardstock. Turn the card stock upside down and with your larger piece on the left, begin an acordian fold on the right with a mountain fold, then valley fold, etc. The left side with automatically fold when you get to the last fold. Be sure to burnish all of the fold lines using your bone folder.
Run a 4" x 2 3/4" pumpkin pie cardstock through the woodgrain embossing folder and then attach this to the left side of the card.
Stamp the "Hello Fall" greeting on piece of very vanilla cardstock that measures 7/8" x 2 1/8" using soft suede ink. Attach this to a 1" x 2 1/4" piece of crushed curry cardstock and then add this to the bottom right side of the side step.
Using some scraps of very vanilla, I created the wreath using the wondrous wreath stamp set. The first color with the most leaves was in crushed curry, then the stamp with the least amount of leaves was stamped in pumpkin pie and the berries were stamped in old olive. The tabs on this stamp set help to line things up very nicely and they match with the tabs on the framelits. I then used the framelits to cut out the wreath. I stamped the bow in cherry cobbler, cut it out with the framelit and attached to the wreath with a glue dot and then using dimensionals, added the wreath to the left side of the card and added a medium sized pearl to the center of the bow.
Using the Fall Fest stamp set, I stamped two of the pumpkins with pumpkin pie and I colored in the stem of the pumpkin with a chocolate chip marker before stamping the image. I stamped several of the leaves using old olive, crushed curry, pumpkin pie and cherry cobbler ink. I cut all of these out using the coordinating framelits and then added this to the back two steps of the card. I made sure I used the tallest and shortest pumpkin so both could be seen. Just randomly added leaves.
I used a piece of very vanilla cardstock that measured 4" x 2 3/4" for the inside greeting. I stamped some of the leaves along the bottom and then used the "thankful for you" stamp from the good greetings (free hostess set) and stamped that in soft suede and added it to the inside of the card.
