Project Recipe
Stamp flower onto Vellum Cardstock using Basic Black Ink. Set aside to dry. Once dried, color back side of image using Stampin' Markers or Stampin Blends. Set aside until needed.
Using the 3 3/8 scallop square and the 2 5/8 square dies from the Layering Square Framelits, cut a frame from the Gold Foil paper.
Center the smaller die onto the Always Artichoke mat and cut a square ( I cut mine about 3/4" from each side and 1" from top)
Center Artichoke mat onto the 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 piece of Whisper White c/s and place a light pencil mark in the right upper corner and center top of your cut out. This will give you an reference to stamp your sentiment. Using the Enjoy Today sentiment from the Climbing Orchid set, and Versa Mark stamp the sentiment, I stamped them separately instead of side by side. Cover with Gold Emboss powder and heat until melted. Carefully erase your marks. Set aside.
Stamp a flower on a second piece of 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 Whisper White, for your inside using Always Artichoke Ink. Stamp sentiment of choice.
Using Glue Dots, add a piece of Whisper White cardstock behind your Vellum Flower. Fussy cut around the edges.
To assemble, mount your Whisper White paper to your base. Add the Gold frame around the cut out on the Artichoke front, using Glue dots in the corners. I mounted the Window Sheet to this piece using Sticky Strip.
Adding Foam Strips around the opening. Add a small piece of the strips into each corner and the middle of each edge. I used glue dots on the top part of the flower and dimensionals on the bottom to keep the flower setting even on the card. Lastly I added another strip of foam across the back of the flower to make the shaker box smaller.
Tap your embossing budding around the side of the foam to keep your shaker material from sticking. Carefully add your shaker material to the card front and lay the Artichoke mat over it.
