Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Old Olive Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 3-1/4" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 3" square from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
Mount the large flower image from the Heartfelt Blooms Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp off once on Grid Paper. Stamp again without re-inking in the center of the 3-1/4" square of white cardstock. Set image aside to let it dry a bit. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist, but leave the stamp on the block.
Make sure the stamp is completely clean and dry. Ink up only the part of the stamp with the two large leaves sticking out using the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp the leaves on the large white rectangle so the leaves are pointing up and the smaller leaf goes off the top of the cardstock and is about 1" in from the left side. The larger leaf should be about 1/4" from the top. Clean the stamp and put it away.
Mount the "thinking of you" sentiment on Block B. Ink it up with the Old Olive Ink Pad. Stamp it on the large white rectangle just to the right of the leaves so it overlaps the right leaf just a bit and is about 3/4" from the top of the white rectangle.
Place the bottom of the stamped white rectangle into the floral patterned folder from the Petal Pair Embossing Folders. Make sure you can see the stamped leaves and sentiment and you can read the "Sizzix" and "Stampin' Up!" logos on the top of the folder. Place the folder with the card stock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Cut a 6" piece of Old Olive 1/8" Sheer Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the stamped and dry embossed white layer near the top of the dry embossing. Flip the cardstock over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the large Daffodil Delight rectangle and then to the front of the Old Olive card.
Pick out the scalloped circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 2-9/16" scalloped circle. Place the Daffodil Delight square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the scalloped circle framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the circle framelit from the Layering Circles Framelits that cuts out a 2-3/8" circle. Place the bouquet stamped white square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the circle framelit on top so it cuts out the portion of the bouquet you want. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Place the bouquet stamped circle on the Grid Paper to protect your work surface and start coloring with the Stampin' Blends Markers.
Scribble all over the flowers with the Light Daffodil Delight Marker. Add highlights with the Light Pumpkin Pie and Dark Daffodil Delight Markers. Use the Light Daffodil Delight Marker again to blend everything together. Add more Light Pumpkin Pie and Dark Daffodil Delight Marker as desired, blending again with the Light Daffodil Delight Marker.
Color all over the leaves with the Light Old Olive Marker. Add highlights with the Dark Old Olive Marker and blend everything together with the Light Old Olive Marker.
If you get color where you don't want it, you can use the Color Lifter Marker to remove the color.
Adhere the colored bouquet circle to the center of the scalloped Daffodil Delight circle.
Adhere the bouquet circles to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals so that it covers the end of the olive stamped leaves on the white layer and overlaps the dry embossed portion of the white layer a bit.
Carefully peel up a large clear circle from a sheet of Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the large flower on the bouquet near the center as a dew drop.
Cut an 8" piece of Old Olive 1/8" Sheer Ribbon.
Tie a small bow and trim the ends. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere it to the right side of the bouquet circles over the ribbon already on the card.
