Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Early Espresso card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored & folded at 4 1/4"
Crumb Cake: 4" x 5 1/4", need two
Very Vanilla inside layer: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" -need one
Very Vanilla to stamp and cut out image squares: 2" x 8 1/2" strip
Early Espresso and Crumb Cake: scraps to cut out scalloped and smooth edge layering squares
Very Vanilla: scrap to stamp and cut out greeting with banner framelit.
Neutrals Designer Paper: 2 1/4" x 5 5/8" to punch with Gift Bag Punch Board to create envelope liner
Ink Hardwood background with Crumb Cake ink. Lay ink-side-up on table. Lay Crumb Cake layer on inked stamp. Hold in place with one hand while carefully pressing and smoothing with the other to ink the card stock but not move and create a blurred image. Repeat with second Crumb Cake layer. Adhere to card front and inside with SNAIL.
Cut Early Espresso scraps with scalloped square die of desired size for a total of three scalloped squares.
Cut Crumb Cake scraps with smooth-edge square die of desired size for a total of three smooth-edge squares.
Adhere Crumb Cake squares on Early Espresso squares with SNAIL.
Stamp Very Vanilla strip with ship, globe, and train images with Early Espresso ink. Stamp over each image with stamped-off crumb cake ink and the grid stamp from Timeless Textures. Cut out each using smaller smooth-edge square die. Adhere to the prepared squares with SNAIL.
Adhere globe square image in center of card front with SNAIL.
Adhere the ship and the train above and below diagonally across card with dimensionals.
Stamp "Happy Birthday" from Happy Happenings with Early Espresso ink on vanilla scrap. Stamp lightly with stamped-off Crumb Cake and same grid stamp as before.
Cut out with the banner die from the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlets Dies.
Adhere to card front beside the top image square with dimensionals.
Stamp "YOU'RE THE BEST" from Friendly Wishes with Early Espresso ink.
Stamp ship, globe, and train images with stamped-off Early Espresso.
Stamp layer all over with stamped-off Crumb Cake and the grid stamp.
Adhere inside card with SNAIL.
Punch one end of 2 1/4” x 5 5/8”” of DSP with Gift Bag Punch Board, lining up the edge of the paper with the “Start” line on the board before punching. Flip paper end-over-end and line up the opposite side of the paper with the “Start” line before punching again. Adhere inside envelope just below the glue line using a line of SNAIL ONLY along the top edge of the liner. Fold envelope flap down to crease the liner and push it farther down into the envelope. Stamp the envelope to match your card and you are done!
