ontinued inspiration from some of my favorite retiring products.
Pinterest was my inspiration for this card. It is stamped in outgoing Tip Top Taupe with the Hardwood background stamp on a Very Vanilla cardstock piece. It makes a pretty back drop for the Watermelon Wonder flowers accented with Cucumber Crush stems from the retiring Flower Patch set. You will want to grab these favorites while they are still available!
Project Recipe
Cardbase (Very Vanilla): 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded in half to make 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" left side opening card
Accent piece (Cucumber Crush): 4" x 5 1/4" Be sure to punch the leaves out with the Festive Flower Builder punch before adhering to cardbase. Set two leaf shaped pieces aside, and can throw other pieces away.
Top piece (Very Vanilla): 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamp Hardwood background stamp in Tip Top Taupe ink onto top piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Next stamp using Cucumber Crush ink the three leave stems at various angles along the left side.
Stamp three Petite Petal flowers with Watermelon Wonder ink onto a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Punch these flowers out with the Petite Petal punch. Set aside for now.
Stamp a variety of the Petite Petal flowers with Watermelon Wonder ink along the stems. Leave spaces for the punched flowers to be added.
Adhere the Cucumber Crush piece centered on the cardbase (equal distance on all four sides).
Adhere the stamped Very Vanilla piece onto the Cucumber Crush piece (equal distance on all four sided).
Add a dimensional to the back of each of the punched flowers and adhere to stem area of the card front.
Stamp your greeting of choice in Watermelon Wonder ink onto a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Punch out greeting with the Classic Label punch.
Layer the two green leaves and adhere together.
Layer the punched out greeting on top and adhere the right end on top of the leaves.
Add dimensionals to the back of the leaf decorated greeting and add to the lower right are of the card front.
Write something inside the card and mail!
