Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Night Of Navy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of riveted together gray rectangles design from Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" of blue and white grid design from Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper
- gray tag design cut from sheet of Take To The Sky Designer Series Paper
Adhere the piece of blue and white grid Take To The Sky Designer Paper to the left side of the vertical riveted gray rectangles Take To The Sky Designer Paper so the top, left, and bottom edges are even.
Cut an 18" piece of the Night Of Navy thread from the Natural Tones Linen Thread. Fold the thread into thirds.
Lay the folded thread across the layered designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the designer papers. Fold the ends of the folded thread over and secure the folded thread in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the designer paper rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Night Of Navy card.
If you haven't already done so, cut the gray tag from the sheet of Take To The Sky Designer Paper using the Paper Trimmer and/or Paper Snips Scissors. Cut the bottom end off the tag so it is 3-1/4" long.
Use the hand-held circle punch to punch a hole in the end of the tag where the reinforcing circle image is printed.
As you are ready to stamp using the Happy Little Things Set, place the designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the open block letter "You" sentiment from the Happy Little Things Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the top of the tag cut out so the ribbon hole is on the left side.
Mount the solid block letter "You" sentiment from the Happy Little Things Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp off on Grid Paper. Without re-inking, stamp it in the center of the previously stamped word on the tag cut out.
Mount the script "you are incredible" sentiment from the Happy Little Things Set on Block H. Carefully ink up only the words "are incredible" by pressing the stamp to the edge of the open Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the tag under the previously stamped word "you" so the word "are" is centered under the large "o" in "you" as shown.
Mount the solid set of two small sparkles image on Block B. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp off on Grid Paper. Without re-inking, stamp it on the lower left side of the tag cut out as shown.
Mount the outline set of two small sparkles image on Block B. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped solid sparkles on the tag cut out.
Cut a 6" piece of the Night Of Navy thread from the Natural Tones Linen Thread.
Fold the thread in half. Stick the folded end of the thread through the hole punched in the left side of the stamped tag cut out. Stick the loose ends of the thread through the loop and gently tighten the thread in place.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the tag cut out with thread attached to the front of the card as shown at a slight angle near the center.
Peel up a Mini Glue Dot and tuck it under the lower left corner of the tag cut out. Adhere the loose ends of the thread to the glue dot to hold the thread in place.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere 3 Industrial Trinkets bolt side face up to the front of the card as shown.
