What you will need:
Card base: 5 1/2" x 11" scored at 1 1/4", 5 1/2" and 9 1/4"
Card Mat- coordinating card stock: 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Patterned Paper Strips: (1) 5 1/4" x 1 1/2"
(1) 5 1/4" x 1"
Inside Mat- white card stock: 5 1/4" x 4"
Belly Band Card Stock: 1 1/2" x 9 1/2"
Belly Band Patterned Paper: 1 1/4" x 9 1/2"
Die cut image / Sentiment panel for decoration
Fold card stock in half at 5 1/2" score line. Then fold left (smaller) flap inward and right (larger) flap outward to create card base.
Emboss (optional) the coordinating card stock mat and adhere to largest front panel.
Adhere patterned paper strips to the two small flaps.
Stamp sentiment (optional) on the white card stock mat and adhere to the inside of the card.
Create the (optional) belly band by adhering the patterned paper strip to the card stock strip. Position strip across the back of the card and fold around to the front. Be cautious not to make this fold too tight- leave a little wiggle room to remove and replace band easily. Glue ends together at the front of the card.
Add die cut image and sentiment label to the belly band.
If choosing not to use belly band, decoration and sentiment label can be adhered directly to the front of one of the flaps, or on the card mat.
