T his card was made using the New In Color Polished Pink and the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set. This pop of color against the black make for a stunning card. Change the sentiment and you can have a card for any occasion.
Cut a card base from Basic Black at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" score at 4-1/4". Then cut a piece of designer series paper at 3-1/4"x5" and another at 2-1/2"x 5". This was from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper Pack.
Cut a piece of cardstock from the Polished Pink In Color 2-1/4x4-1/4". Layer a piece of Basic White cut at 2"x4-1/4". Before you adhere this down to the polished pink layer. Stamp your leaves for the tulip in Old Olive.
You will stamp your tulips in Polished Pink and then I took a sponge dobber and added some Melon Mambo color to the edge of the tulip. Punch the larger tulip out using the tulip punch and then fussy cut the smaller tulip. I like to leave a little bit of white area around the tulip so it does not draw as much attention to your cutting. Pop these two tulips up using Stampin Dimensionals.
Then you will need a piece of designer series paper cut at 2"x1-3/4" this will cover up a portion of the tulip stems. Stamp the sentiment in Memento Black on a scrap of Polished Pink that was cut 1/2"x2-1/4" I banner cut the one end using the tailored tag punch. Pop the sentiment up using a dimensional. Add a bow from the polished pink ribbon. Such a fun card and the pink just pops against the black cardstock.
