Project Recipe
Pool Party card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2' scored at 4 1/4"
Basic white layer 3 3/4" x 4 1/4"
Designer Series paper strip 1 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Fresh Freesia scrap for sentiment 2 1/2" x 1 1/2"
Score card base at 4 1/4"
Adhere strip of designer series paper to the card front oriented to the left side.
Die cut the basic white layering piece along one of the 4 1/4" sides using the scalloped edge die from the Penned Flowers dies.
Adhere scallop-edged white layer to the card front overlapping the designer paper strip.
Stamp floral images with the Hand-Penned stamp set and add color using the two-step stamping technique or Stampin blends. I used Highland Heather, Pale Papaya and Garden Green ink. Use the "stamp-off" technique to achieve lighter shades on some of your flowers and leaves.
Die cut floral images with the coordinating die from the Penned Flowers dies and adhere to the front of the card.
Die cut the sentiment using the Stitched So Sweetly dies (second-smallest rectangle) and stamp sentiment using Highland Heather ink.
Adhere sentiment with dimensionals, add some bling, and you're done!
Don't forget to decorate your envelope!
