Project Recipe
Pool Party card base 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 1 1/4" and 5 1/2"
Pool Party mat (insert) 5 1/4 x 4"
Basic White Sentiment (layer for insert) 5" x
3 3/4"
Designer Series Paper: 3 1/2" x 4" and coordinating piece 1" x 4"
Fold your card base in half at the 5 1/2" score line. Then fold the flap the opposite direction at the 1 1/4" fold line. This will be the front of your card.
Adhere the large piece of designer paper to the large front panel- this will go under the flap a bit. Adhere the strip of designer series paper to the flap.
Starting slightly to the right on the front flap, adhere tear-and-tape across the length of the flap (R-L) and then continue (all one piece) around the back of the card and back to the front where you started. Cut tape and remove paper, all the way around card. Adhere ribbon to the tape all the way around card, and cut where it meets in the front. Create a bow and adhere with a glue dot where the two ends meet. This creates your pocket!
Stamp sentiment on the white card layer and decorate with images or a strip of designer series paper. Add a small piece of designer series paper or ribbon (using adhesive) to the top of the card stock mat (insert) to become pull-tab. Adhere white sentiment layer to the card stock mat (insert).
Insert the card into the pocket!
Don't forget to decorate your envelope!
