Project Recipe
Dimensions:
Hand-Penned Memories and More card and matching envelope.
Pool Party scrap for greeting
Beautifully Penned DSP (Retired, but use anything that coordinates.)5" x 4"
Hand-Penned DSP 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"
Fresh Freesia 2" x 1" for greeting
Fresh Freesia Vellum 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"
Adhesive Sheet 3-1/2" x 3-1/2"
White twine 14" (I have fat fingers, you could probably use less.)
Before getting started set the vellum up to be added to the card.
The vellum can be applied with the shimmer side up or down. For this card, I applied the shimmer up.
In advance, I applied the vellum to the adhesive sheet before cutting it down.
Here's how: Both shimmer vellum and adhesive sheet are cut 3-1/2" x 3-1/2". Peel part of the adhesive sheet back to expose one of the sticky sides and place it onto the vellum. Pull the rest of the backing off and lay the vellum down smoothly.
Adhere the layers together as shown in the photo.
Beautifully Penned DSP or similar toward the right side of the landscape card base.
Peel off the backing of the vellum and apply to the DSP as shown in the photo.
Using the largest Layering Circle Die (about 3") and run it through the Stamp, Cut, and Emboss machine with the Hand-Penned DSP.
Apply the DSP to the Vellum using Liquid glue, as shown in the photo.
Stamp the flowers with Memento Ink onto white cardstock. Use the stamps to fill in the flowers and the stems with Polished Pink and Mint Macaron ink.
Then cut the flower and stem out with the coordinating Penned Flower Dies.
Adhere the flower to the circle with Liquid Glue.
Make a double bow using white twine and apply with a glue dot.
Stamp greeting onto Mint Macaron cardstock with Memento Ink. Cut around the greeting and adhere it to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Add 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels and Brushed Brass Butterfly to complete the card.
