H alloween is a favorite of mine. These treat boxes are easy to use and fun. They would make a great banner for a party. Are used to always make boxes that each box would have a letter so it would say a sign I would sit on our fireplace mantel and it would be a wonderful decoration but then it was a parting gift when people left. I’m not sure if I’ll be having a Halloween party but this would be a definite one that I would use for that situation
Project Recipe
Wrap mini candy bars with paper measured 1" x 4"
Optionally, use the mini twix bars. Wrap candy using 2" x 3"
Alternatively, you can also use the mini Reese's Peanut Butter cups. Cut paper to 2-1/2" x 6"
The boxes can hold two layers:
1 mini Peanut Butter Cup
4 Twix Mini Candy
6 Mini Candy bars
Create the front by stamping BOO in Basic Black on the die cut banner. Cut two additional paper strips of 1/2" x 4" and banner cut them with the Banners Pick a Bunch Punch. Cut a circle using the circle die in the Give it a Whirl die set from Cute Halloween paper. See examples.
Die cut a square on the front of the top box from the MERRIEST FRAMES HYBRID EMBOSSING FOLDER. The top box is a little larger than the bottom box. Assemble as shown.
Add Window Sheet to cover front box opening using Tombow Liquid Glue adhesive.
