Project Recipe
Measurements Night of Navy 8 12 x 81/2
Crushed Curry 4 x 4
Whisper White 37/8 x 3 7/8
Keep scraps for letters & Mats
Score 81/2 x 81/2 Night of Navy at 4 1/4. Turn score second side at 4 1/4. Score diagonally from top corner to bottom corner. Crease all score lines and set aside.
You will double dip your stamp with ink, first stamp on Versa Mark then into the Night of Navy Pad. Stamp letters on your scrap of Whisper White, Cover with Clear Embossing Powder and heat until melted.
Be sure to stamp the letters far enough apart to punch out with 1" circle
Punch out letters with 1" Circle Punch and mats from your Crushed Curry scrap with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch. Use Snail to mount the letters to mats.
To fold your card lay flat with a corner on top and the diagonal score line horizontal. Take both side corners and pinch them together with creases going towards center, this should automatically force the top and bottom corners to close inwards. Once folded go over creases with your bone folder
Using your Night of Navy pad, stamp one of your white 3 7/8 squares with Class of 2015. I used the Celebrate stamp for the other white panel. Mount to the Curry squares with snail.
Mount your circles across the front with Dimensionals. To make your tassel, wrap baker twine around your fingers and cut one end. Take a smaller piece and tie around the top wrapping several times. Tie in back. Use a glue dot to secure the loop and top with a Curry Candy Dot. Glue dot the other ends to make it look like it is hanging between letter.
Mount your squares on the diagonal inside on the top/bottom flap. Using snail, decorate further if desired.
