A dd a wow factor to your creations with the heat embossing technique.
Project Recipe
On a Crumb Cake card base, stamp the small magnolia image in Crumb Cake Ink on the top right corner and bottom left corner of the card front.
Prep the embossing surface - using an Embossing Buddy, swipe it over a piece of Blushing Bride Card Stock to remove any static and to prevent the embossing powder from sticking to the entire surface, beyond the stamped image.
Stamp the magnolia image onto the piece of Blushing Bride Card Stock in Versamark Ink, then apply Gold Embossing Powder to that stamped image. Lightly tap on the card stock to remove excess embossing powder, making sure that only the stamped image has embossing powder applied. Once the powder has set it cannot be removed.
Heat the embossing powder with a Heat Tool to set.
Cut out the embossed magnolia image using the die cut or fussy cut technique and set aside. Using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits die cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock, stamp the sentiment Thanks onto this piece with Versamark ink, apply Gold Embossing Powder and heat set with a Heat Tool.
Adhere the Whisper White rectangle piece to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals, then adhere the embossed magnolia image to the rectangle piece with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Create an insert for the card in Whisper White Card Stock, stamp a sentiment and two small magnolia images in Versamark Ink and applying Gold Embossing Powder, then heat set. Adhere the insert to the inside of the card.
