I 'm not sure about you, but I have a number of people on my Holiday list that I can't send a traditional Merry Christmas greeting to! I chose some snowflakes this year to spread some secular seasonal greetings, and I am loving them. At first I thought the Glimmer paper might be too sparkly for my taste, but, boy! was I wrong.
Project Recipe
Cut card base from Whisper White Thick card stock at 4 1/4" x 8 1/2, score and fold at 4 1/4"
Cut Balmy Blue card stock squares 2 7/8" x 2 7/8", 2 5/8" x 2 5/8", 2 3/8" x 2 3/8".
Cut Balmy Blue Glimmer squares 2 1/2" x 2 1/2", 2 1/4" x 2 1/4".
Cut DSP square 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".
Cut Shimmery White square 2 " x 2".
Have on hand scraps of Balmy Blue, Balmy Blue Glimmer and Shimmery White card stock for snowflake die cuts.
Emboss the card base with the Winter Snow embossing folder and set aside. Die cut snowflakes in varying sizes from the Balmy Blue card stock, Balmy Blue Glimmer paper and the Shimmery White card stock. Set aside.
Adhere the DSP square to the 2 7/8" square of Balmy Blue card stock and then adhere to the card base, turning to creating a diamond shape.
Adhere the 2 1/2" square of Balmy Blue Glimmer paper to the Balmy Blue card stock square measuring 2 5/8" x 2 5/8". Adhere this piece to card, creating a square on top of your diamond shape.
Adhere the Shimmery White 2" square to the 2 1/4" square of Balmy Blue Glimmer paper and then adhere that piece to the 2 3/8" of Balmy Blue card stock.
Add Dimensionals to the back of that piece and adhere to card, turning to create another diamond shape.
Affix the Die cut snowflakes to the Shimmery White square with glue dots or Dimensionals.
