Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Bermuda Bay Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Smoky Slate Cardstock
- 3/4" x 4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 2" x 9" from Smoky Slate Cardstock, scored at 2", 2-3/4", 3-1/2", and 4-1/4"
- 2 pieces each 2" square from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 2" square from Bermuda Bay Cardstock
- 4 pieces each 1-7/8" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Bermuda Bay Cardstock
Mount the grease stain image from the Geared Up Garage Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the large Smoky Slate rectangle. Re-ink the stamp every so often. Let some of the images go off the edges and let them overlap some. Leave the stamp on the block.
Mount the set of 3 nuts image from the Geared Up Garage Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the large Smoky Slate rectangle. Re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges and let them overlap some of the previously stamped grease stain images. Leave the stamp on the block.
Fold the long strip of Smoky Slate Cardstock on all score lines using mountain folds.
Unlock the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Slide the short edge of the long, unfolded end of the Smoky Slate strip into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the punched strip on the small strip of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock so it is centered side to side. Use a pencil to draw a line on the Rich Razzleberry strip on either side of the Smoky Slate strip.
Put pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive up to the pencil lines on the Rich Razzleberry strip on either end. Remove the protective backings and adhere the Rich Razzleberry strip to the bottom of the stamped large Smoky Slate rectangle about ¾” from the bottom. The center of the Rich Razzleberry strip should NOT have any adhesive on it!
Cut a 4-3/4” piece of the Bermuda Bay 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the center of the Rich Razzleberry strip adhered to the stamped Smoky Slate rectangle. Fold the ends over and secure in place on the back of the Smoky Slate rectangle with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the Smoky Slate rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Bermuda Bay card.
Mount the “All Geared Up to Celebrate” sentiment from the Geared Up Garage Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it just above the tag punched end of the folded Smoky Slate strip.
Slide the sentiment stamped, tag punched end of the folded Smoky Slate strip under the center of the Rich Razzleberry/ribbon strip on the card front.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the center of the Rich Razzleberry/ribbon strip on the card front. Make sure the adhesive strips do NOT extend past the edges of the tag strip on either side.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips. Adhere the bottom of the folded over Smoky Slate strip (where it is a 2” square) to the center of the Rich Razzleberry/ribbon strip on the card front.
Re-ink the grease stain image from the Geared Up Garage Set mounted on Block C with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it along the bottom of two of the white squares. Re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the image go off the bottom edge of each square.
Re-ink the set of 3 nuts image from the Geared Up Garage Set mounted on Block A with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it across the bottom of a 3rd white square multiple times. Remember to re-ink each time. Let some of the images go off the bottom, left, and right edges.
Mount the gas can image from the Geared Up Garage Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the final white square near the bottom edge.
Put the gas can stamped square on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Start coloring the gas can image with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the dark colors first and then the light colors to blend the colors and color in the spaces. Work on one area at a time so the inks will be wet and will blend easier.
Use the Light and Dark Bermuda Bay Markers to color in most of the can.
Use the Light and Dark Rich Razzleberry Markers to color in the stripe on the can.
Use the Light Rich Razzleberry Marker to color in the straw on the can.
Use the Light Smoky Slate Marker to color in the rims and top of the can.
Use the Color Lifter Marker as needed to remove excess ink.
Mount the “You’re A Classic” sentiment from the Geared Up Garage Set on Block H. Carefully ink up ONLY the word “You’re” by pressing it to the Bermuda Bay Ink Pad or using the brush tip of the REGULAR (not the Stampin' Blends) Bermuda Bay Marker. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the word “You’re” right above the stamped nuts on the one white square so it is centered. Clean the stamp using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block.
Carefully ink up ONLY the word “A” by using the brush tip of the REGULAR (not the Stampin' Blends) Rich Razzleberry Marker. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp the word “A” just to the left of the stamped and colored gas can on the one white square so it is centered. Clean the stamp using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block.

Mount the car image from the Geared Up Garage Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Bermuda Bay rectangle.
Pick out the car die from the Garage Gears Dies. Put it on top of the stamped car image on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the image is centered. Run through the tool.
Adhere the car cut out to the white square with the grease stain on the Rich Razzleberry square so it is centered. It will stick over the edges on the left and right sides.
Here's a picture of what kind of adhesive and where to use it on the next couple of steps.
Adhere the matted “Classic” oil stain square to the bottom of the Smoky Slate strip where it is 2” square and adhered to the front of the card.
Adhere ONLY the top of the matted “a” gas can square to the next scored section of the Smoky Slate strip using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Adhere ONLY the top of the matted “You’re” nuts square to the next scored section of the Smoky Slate strip using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Adhere ONLY the top of the matted car square to the final scored section of the Smoky Slate strip using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Cut a 4” piece of Bermuda Bay 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon.
Pick out a key or wrench from the Classic Garage Metal Elements.
Slide the metal element onto the center of the ribbon.
Tie the ribbon to the hole in the scalloped tag punched area of the Smoky Slate strip using a knot. Trim the ends.
When you pull down on the end of the punched Smoky Slate strip using the metal element, the tag strip should slide down and each of the squares will flip up in turn revealing the messages.
