Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Night of Navy Cardstock
- 2" x 6" of strawberries and blueberries on white background design from Tutti-frutti 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" square from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 6" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2 scraps of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock each at least 3/4" wide
Place the Night of Navy rectangle into the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on top of a Cutting Pad on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place another Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide the bottom end of the Tutti-frutti Designer Series Paper strip into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Adhere the punched designer paper strip to the center of the dry embossed Night of Navy rectangle so the notched ends are about 1/2" from the bottom. Use Paper Snips to trim off any excess designer paper along the top.
Adhere the Night of Navy rectangle to the front of the Lemon Lime Twist card.
Place the long strip of white cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner, crisper image when you stamp with photopolymer stamps.
Mount the solid bowl image from the Fruit Basket Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp off once onto Grid Paper. Then, stamp onto one end of the strip of white cardstock without re-inking.
Mount the outline bowl image from the Fruit Basket Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped bowl image.
Mount the solid bottom of the strawberry image from the Fruit Basket Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it on the strip of white cardstock so the bottom of the berry is pointing down. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it four more times onto the white strip. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time and have the berries pointing down and leave some space between each berry.
Mount the strawberry leaves image from the Fruit Basket Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Lemon Lime Twist Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of one of the previously stamped strawberry bottoms. Repeat until all the berries have leaves remembering to re-ink the stamp each time. If you want, you can re-ink the stamp and stamp it again over some of the previously stamped berry leaves to make some of them a little darker.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the bowl image by hand.
Unlock the strawberry punch from the Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped strawberries strip into the punch and line up one of the strawberry images inside the punching area. Punch. Repeat with the other 4 strawberries.
Without adhering, place the cut out bowl image on the left side of the white square about 1/4" from the bottom.
Use a tiny dot of Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of three of the punched out strawberries and adhere them to the left side of the white square so they appear to be sitting inside the bowl.
Adhere the bowl to the white square using SNAIL so it appears to be holding the three strawberries.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere a fourth strawberry punch out so it overlaps the other three strawberries in the bowl.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the last strawberry punch out so it overlaps the bottom left of the bowl.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Lemon Lime Twist 3/8" Mini Striped Ribbon and a 3-1/2" piece of Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon.
Lay the red ribbon across the center of the green striped ribbon horizontally.
Lay the ribbons across the top of the white square so that about 1/8" of white shows above the green striped ribbon. Flip the white square over and fold the ends of the ribbons over. Adhere the ends of the ribbons in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the white square. Adhere the square to the front of the card so it is centered side to side over the designer paper banner about 1/2" from the top.
Cut a 7" piece of Real Red 1/8" Solid Ribbon.
Tie a small bow. Trim the ends.
Adhere the red bow at a slight angle to the left side of the red ribbon already on the card using a Mini Glue Dot.
Place the two scraps of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner, crisper image when you stamp with photopolymer stamps.
Mount the "You are the sweetest!" sentiment from the Fruit Basket Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it on one of the scraps of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it on the other scrap of green cardstock.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the words as close to the edges of the words as you can get. You only need one of each word, but stamping the sentiment twice makes it easier to cut some of them out.
Without adhering, place the words on the card front along the right side of the white square at angles as shown. Let the word "sweetest!" overlap the bottom right of the bowl a little bit.
When you are happy with the placement of the words, adhere them in place one at a time using a bit of Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the back of each word.
